Akhil holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and a postgraduate diploma in Systems Administration. He has 9 years of experience across service desks and tier two support where he specialized in Windows deployments, device management, and performance tuning for mixed hardware fleets. His expertise includes PowerShell automation, driver management, and root cause analysis for blue screen and boot errors. He received a community award for a series of open-source scripts that simplified routine maintenance. Off hours he enjoys cycling and retro game emulation. At Troubleshoot Windows he leads our fix library, validates every step-in tutorial, and maintains our internal test matrix across Windows versions.

Shantanu Kaushik – Founder and Editor in Chief
Shantanu graduated with a B.S. in Information Technology and began his career in technical writing and product documentation before launching Troubleshoot Windows in 2013. With more than 12 years in content leadership and hands on testing, he focuses on clarity, sourcing standards, and long-term reliability of fixes. His areas of expertise include Windows release management, privacy and security settings, and productivity workflows for Microsoft 365. He has been invited to speak at user groups and has mentored early career writers. On weekends he experiments with home lab builds and audio gear. He sets editorial direction, runs our release day coverage, and signs off on complex troubleshooting guides.

Nitin Agarwal – Guides and How-To Editor
Nitin holds a B.C.A. with coursework in networking and operating systems. He brings 8 years of experience in consumer help content and IT onboarding for small businesses, where he built knowledge bases and new user training paths. He specializes in step-by-step guides for Windows settings, accessibility, and data protection, along with plain language explainers for non-technical readers. His work on backup hygiene was recognized with a community choice award from a tech forum. He is a photography enthusiast and a weekend hiker. At the site he manages the guides pipeline, standardizes our screenshots and captions, and ensures every tutorial includes rollback and safety steps.

Vince Topsky – News and Tools Editor
Vince earned a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Computer Science. He has 7 years of newsroom and product desk experience covering Microsoft updates, developer tools, and the broader PC ecosystem. His expertise includes Patch Tuesday analysis, change logs, and hands on testing of utilities that make Windows better. He has contributed to conference coverage and moderated Q and A sessions with independent developers. He enjoys mechanical keyboards, film photography, and tinkering with open-source utilities. Vince runs the daily news brief, curates our recommended tools list, and works with the team to verify update behavior across different machines.
