About us

Troubleshoot Windows is a practical, reader first publication for Microsoft Windows users. Since 2013 we have helped people fix errors, learn new features, and keep their PCs running smoothly. Our coverage spans quick tips, detailed tutorials, smart workarounds, and the latest Windows news. The site is led by Editor in Chief Shantanu Kaushik and run by a U.S. based team of industry experts, hobbyists, bloggers, and journalists who enjoy turning tough problems into simple steps.

Who We Are

Troubleshoot Windows started in 2013 to solve a common frustration. Windows can do a lot, but finding clear and trustworthy guidance is hard. We built a home for explanations that are careful, current, and easy to follow. Our identity is part help desk, part lab bench, and part newsroom. We test what we recommend and we write like we are sitting beside you at the keyboard.

What We Do

We publish step by step how to articles, fixes for common and rare errors, performance tuning guides, privacy and security walkthroughs, and hands on explainers for new releases. We also report news and updates from Microsoft and the Windows ecosystem and create buyer guides for accessories and software that work well with Windows. For teams, we package checklists and quick reference sheets that make help desk work faster.
